Recommended Use: For THCa Vape Cartridges, we strongly recommend using caution, as THCa is a powerful compound. We recommend one to three puffs per dosage, with one puff for first-time users. Factors like the depth of your inhalation and how much vapor you can draw into your lungs at once will affect the strength of your high. Remember, factors such as body mass, THCa tolerance, and desired effect will play a role in deciding dosages. Everybody is unique. Your experience may be different.
Ingredients: Our THCa vape cartridges are made with a live resin diamond suspension & cannabis-derived terpenes only. If you would like to learn more about specific cannabis strains, check out Leafly’s cannabis index here.
THCa: At our core, we believe in the authenticity of nature’s gifts. That’s why we’re proud to share the story of THCa, a remarkable compound found in the cannabis plant. Unlike synthetic substances concocted in labs, THCa is a pure, natural creation of the plant itself. It emerges from the cannabis trichomes, where it’s nurtured by the sun and soil. THCa being a naturally occurring compound is its strength, and it’s a testament to the wonders of the natural world.
THCa is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in raw cannabis plants (both hemp and marijuana). THCa is the precursor to THC, the psychoactive compound that produces the “high” associated with cannabis use. In its raw, unheated form, cannabis contains THCa rather than THC. Exposure to heat, light, or air causes raw cannabis plant material to undergo decarboxylation, converting THCa to THC. This process is typically achieved through smoking, vaping, or cooking.
Decarboxylation, often referred to as “decarbing,” is a crucial process that occurs when you heat cannabis or cannabis products. It involves the removal of a carboxyl group (COOH) from compounds like THCa (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) to convert them into their active, bioavailable forms, such as THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol).
The heat from the flame or vaporizer causes decarboxylation to occur when smoking or vaporizing cannabis, which is the case with our THCa vape cartridges. This process leads to the conversion of THCa into THC. This is why smoking or vaporizing cannabis produces psychoactive effects. You must decarb cannabis flower before using it in edibles, tinctures, or other forms of consumption that don’t involve smoking or vaporizing.
