Hemp Under Attack: Senate Moves on Nationwide Ban – But There’s Still Time to Act
Today, the Senate Appropriations Committee advanced language that would ban nearly all consumable hemp products, including full-spectrum CBD and THCa flower. This provision, pushed by Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY), mirrors a similar measure already passed in the House by Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD).
Under this proposal, any product with a quantifiable amount of THC—even trace levels under the legal 0.3% limit—could be outlawed.
Yup. That means your favorite Jam’n goodies—and millions of other compliant hemp products—could be wiped off the shelves.
️ The One-Year Delay – A Lifeline
Thanks to Senator Jeff Merkley (D-OR), a one-year implementation delay was secured. That gives us time to organize, raise awareness, and fix this misguided language before it becomes law.

Where This Is Coming From
Let’s be clear about who’s pushing this agenda:
Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) – Introduced this language in the Senate.
Rep. Andy Harris (R-Maryland) – Authored the original House language.
If you live in Kentucky or Maryland — your voice is CRUCIAL right now. These lawmakers need to hear from the people they represent. You have the power to tell them this ban does not represent you, your community, or your livelihood. (This is for everyone in every state).
Why This Is Personal
Growing up, I watched my parents sit out every election. Not because they didn’t care—but because they truly believed their voices didn’t matter. They saw politics as something done to them, not for them. And I carried that belief for a long time too.
But building Jam’n Hemp Co., raising our kids, and watching this industry grow—only to be threatened by careless legislation—taught me something different.
️ Your voice absolutely does matter. And so does your vote.
When you speak up, when you organize, when you cast a ballot—you’re not just checking a box. You’re shaping policy. You’re protecting your family, your health, your community, and your future.

Final Thought
This isn’t just about THCa flower or delta‑8. This is about our right to natural relief. Our right to choose wellness. Our right to choose what we do in the confines of our homes as law-abiding adults.
At Jam’n Hemp Co., we started this company to help our family—and we won’t sit quietly while politicians threaten the very products that helped our kids and helped build our community.
Let’s show them that the hemp community is strong, informed, and ready to stand up—for ourselves and each other.
Let’s show them what a united hemp community looks like—kind, calm, and completely unwilling to be ignored.
