Some families celebrate birthdays with cake and candles. At Jam’n Hemp Co., we celebrate with terps in the air and deep, contemplative sighs that sound like, “He’s already fifteen?!”
This August, our youngest Jam’n fam member, Asher, turns the big 1-5. That’s right — we officially have a full-blown teenager on our hands. And while the stereotypes say we should be hiding in a closet whispering “serenity now,” the truth is… Asher’s the kind of teen who gives us hope for humanity.
He’s kind, mild, respectful, funny, and smart — basically everything you’d want in a best friend and a customer service rep (seriously, he’d be great at answering those “Is this normal?” vape questions).
He doesn’t slam doors. He holds them.
He doesn’t talk back. He makes us laugh.
And he absolutely roasts our music taste, but does it with such charm, we can’t even be mad.
Sure, he’s still a teen. That means he knows everything, is hungry every 12 minutes, and mysteriously loses 17 socks a week. But raising Asher is the kind of joy that makes the chaos worth it — especially when we’ve got THCa, liquid diamonds, and hemp gummies within arm’s reach.
Let’s just say, parenting teens pairs nicely with terps.
This business started with Asher and his brother at the heart of it — two boys we were trying to help without harsh pharmaceuticals. Now one of them is 15 and growing into the type of person that makes us proud to do this work every single day.
So here’s to Asher:
The reason Jam’n exists.
The reason our snacks keep disappearing.
And the reason we’re still laughing — even when we’re slightly exhausted.
