This is that weird week.
The holidays are technically still happening, but the big stuff is over. Time feels fake. The fridge is full of leftovers you can’t emotionally commit to. You don’t know what day it is, what you’re supposed to be doing, or whether you should be resting, reflecting, or already planning a brand-new life for January 1st.
Good news: you don’t have to do any of that yet.
This week isn’t for resolutions. It’s for exhaling.
The Pressure to “Wrap It All Up”
Right now, the world is quietly whispering (and sometimes yelling):
“New year, new you.”
“Set your goals.”
“Fix everything.”
“Decide who you’re going to be.”
But here’s the thing….you don’t need to package up the year neatly before it ends. You’re allowed to be unfinished. You’re allowed to still be processing. You’re allowed to not know what’s next.
That space? That’s the in-between. And it matters.
A Softer Way to Approach the New Year
Instead of asking yourself:
“What do I need to change?”
Try asking:
-
What do I want to carry with me?
-
What can I let go of without guilt?
-
What felt good this year, even in small moments?
No spreadsheets. No timelines. Just noticing.
Where Hemp Comes In 🌿
This in-between space is where hemp really shines—not as a reset button, but as a gentle companion.
Hemp can support slowing down when your brain wants to race ahead. It can help your body relax while your mind catches up. It’s not about checking out; it’s about settling in.
Sometimes clarity doesn’t come from pushing forward.
Sometimes it shows up when you finally stop pushing at all.
Fun Friday Energy for the In-Between
Here’s what’s fully acceptable right now:
-
Going to bed early or staying up late just because
-
Wearing comfy clothes all day
-
Laughing at nothing important
-
Doing one small thing that feels grounding
-
Letting yourself rest without calling it “being lazy”
You don’t owe the new year a perfected version of yourself.
You don’t need a grand plan before the clock strikes midnight.
You just need to arrive.
So this Fun Friday, let yourself exist in the pause. Let the year wind down naturally. Let joy show up where it wants…..quietly, imperfectly, unexpectedly.
We’ll worry about resolutions later.
Happy Fun Friday, Jam’n fam.
See you on the other side—exactly as you are.
